Nobody can tell me that I'm doing wrong.

Man things have been crazy right now but I've finally been able to find time to sim and of course download like a junkie. I have some pictures from a play session. I'm thinking this weekend I'm going to tackle some tutorials and also download some necessary programs so I can start recoloring objects and what-not.
----
You'll have to ignore the red pause frame. Unfortunately I can no longer use my favorite camera function: TAB or "camera man mode" It just doesn't cooperate with my new computer. I recently downloaded a hack that gets rid of the red frame but these pics are pre-hack.

I made a sim named Louise Marshall. This is the living room in her apartment. I love how it turned out.

Nice little shot of her bedroom. She strikes me as a sim who would use darker colors through out her apartment. Although her kitchen is still a rustic yellow. I probably wont change it..This image also gives you a taste of my decorating style. I like to clutter my sims' homes and most have very eclectic taste.

This is Marigold. She lives in Strangetown and is a potential girlfriend for Nervous Subject. I'm still introducing them and probably going to send them on a date soon.

One last picture. Also from Strangetown. This is Vid with his alien son Galac. I think he's going to be a little extraterrestrial stud when he gets older. He's adorable compared to Pascals alien spawn..
So that's all for now. Hopefully I can read through the tutorials this weekend and start recoloring some basic objects. I'm mostly going to focus on maxis items(I think) because I always run into items in-game that make me pull my hair out while yelling "This doesn't even match anything!"
See ya!

Date: Saturday, March 3rd, 2012 03:46 am (UTC)Marigold is adorable -- I love her worried-looking eyebrows XD How are she and Nervous getting along? Hopefully there'll be some brightly-colored Subjectbabies in your game's future :3
And as for Galac -- whoa, which pollination tech are you using? If that's the default, Galac really did win the genetic lottery (and even if it isn't the default, he still won: that's one cute toddler). That blue skin color really glows :D

Date: Saturday, March 3rd, 2012 10:04 pm (UTC)The octagon shaped shelves are from Avalon Sims under Clutter page 9. They come in another color as well.
I was actually going for that worried look with Marigold. I figured it would be cute to pair her up with Nervous Subject since he's kind of shy and nervous himself!
I actually use a Multi PT hack in my game. So I have four different potential parents for my alien children. I love it. I could find out which ones I'm using if you're interested :D Just let me know! I can't wait to see how Galac looks as a teenager.. They aren't up in the rotation yet, though.*sigh*

Date: Monday, March 5th, 2012 01:50 pm (UTC)They would make a cute pair :D What sort of personality does she have? (And I was really surprised by Nervous's personality stats the first time I played the Beaker house. Considering that Nervous's hobby was picking fights with practically everyone and being a generalized nightmare at almost every welcome wagon, I thought he'd be more outgoing *laughs*)
Please do -- I'm in the market for another multi-PT set. The one that I'm using is great, but in another couple of abductions the genes are going to be spread too thickly (especially since two of the pollinators seem to be hogging all of the abductees). I was considering using Simgaroop's PT7 next, but I know I'd miss the variety.
You've got far more discipline than I do to stick to a play rotation! It's going to be really interesting to see what Galac looks like as he grows up. (And your makeover of Vidcund is great -- that is THE nerd ponytail. Heck, all of the Curious brothers are really suited by unkempt, can't-be-bothered-to-get-a-haircut-when-there's-RESEARCH!! hairstyles.)

I love the genetics that this set brings to my game. So far I've only had two alien babies in my game but I'm happy with how both turned out. Especially since they look so different.
I only just recently started playing rotations. People on MTS got me interested in the idea. I got so tired of some sims aging while others perpetually stayed in X lifestage.
